Why Should Your Patient get an Online Second Opinion?

For over 10 years, we have been providing patients and their local treating physicians access to the specialists at our network hospitals. Our service is unique because we believe it is critical that you are involved in this process from the beginning, and that after the opinion is rendered, the care remains in your hands.

An online consultation may be a more convenient and faster way to receive an expert opinion than the traditional way. Opinions have been provided by over 500 of our specialists across our network, all of whom are attending physicians, and many of whom are leading experts in their field. We do not employ residents, fellows, or other training physicians. If you would like to request a specific physician, we will make every effort to honor that request.

We have found that in over 90% of the consultations provided, a new diagnosis, treatment plan, or alternative therapies are recommended. This gives you and your patient more options to consider, and ultimately peace of mind and renewed commitment to plan.

If your patient has requested your involvement, we are here to help. We can provide you with consultation guidelines as well as more detailed information about the process.

Sending Patient Materials

We can accept your patient's medical records, including their radiology studies and pathological specimens, in a variety of ways. Our goal is to make this as easy as possible. If your patient selected assistance from our partner Health Advocate to retrieve their medical records and diagnostics, they will handle the collection process and will contact you on your patient's behalf.
